With a larger LCD screen as compared to the Flip series, it is definitely easier on the eyes. Like most LCD screens viewing in bright light can be a little difficult, but for most situations the resolution of the screen makes it easy to view what’s being recorded and played back.

The still picture quality is pretty ordinary and can’t be compared with a standard camera, you do however get pretty good quality HD video in good lighting.

The Kodak Zi6 has a large capacity SD card expansion slot which is a huge advantage over the Flip series of cameras. You can put in up to a 32 GB card which will hold several hours of video, unlike the Flip that at most only goes 2 hours.

As a small video camera that can easily be put in a pocket, the Kodak Zi6 HD provides a great way to record and enjoy later all those “you should have been here” snippets of video.
